In consideration of being considered for, or participating in, the CB Films Writers’ Room and related project discussions, I agree as follows:

  1. Confidential Information. “Confidential Information” means non-public scripts, treatments, story ideas, pitch materials, production plans, budgets, schedules, casting information, recordings, business information and other material identified as confidential or which a reasonable person would understand to be confidential.
  2. Permitted use. I will use Confidential Information only to evaluate or perform my authorised role in the application, Writers’ Room or associated project.
  3. Non-disclosure and care. I will not copy, publish, circulate, post, pitch, adapt or disclose Confidential Information to another person without prior written permission, and will use reasonable care to prevent unauthorised access.
  4. Exclusions. These obligations do not apply to information that I can demonstrate was already lawfully known to me, becomes public without my breach, is independently developed without using the Confidential Information, is lawfully received from another source, or must be disclosed by law after giving notice where legally permitted.
  5. Ownership. Confidential material remains the property of its respective owner. This undertaking grants no licence or ownership interest. My independently created, pre-existing portfolio and ideas remain mine; any later collaborative project or submitted idea will be governed by separate written terms.
  6. Return or deletion. On request, I will return or permanently delete Confidential Information in my possession, subject to any copy required to be retained by law.
  7. Duration. These confidentiality obligations continue for three years from the last disclosure, while trade secrets remain protected for as long as they retain that character under applicable law.
  8. No engagement promise. This application and undertaking do not oblige CB Films to select, employ, compensate or engage me, and do not by themselves create an employment relationship.
  9. Electronic acceptance. By actively selecting the acceptance checkbox, entering my name and submitting the form, I intend to accept this undertaking electronically. Indian law governs this undertaking, subject to the terms finally approved by CB Films before launch.
